"Seven
Times Seven the Wheel Rotates" The World Teacher Trust (W.T.T.) is an organisation of people, who are inspired by the lives and teachings of the great Teachers of Eternal Wisdom. They are attempting to live life in simplicity, naturality and love and are accepting a way of life which includes meditation, study of the wisdom teachings and service as an attitude of mind while at work. The motto is „Seven Times Seven the Wheel Rotates“.
The Trust is named after the World Teacher, who is a universal principle in creation. Every teacher is in truth a representation of this one principle, an exemplification of The Teacher and Master. The World Teacher Trust emphasizes what has been said by the seers and sages of all times: The social, economic and domestic activities of man should be in tune with the Law of Nature. The human desire, the material acquisitive tendencies and the use of such material should be subservient to the Law.
The World Teacher Trust is particularly inspired by the life and teachings of Dr. Ekkirala Krishnamacharya (Master E.K.), who founded the W.T.T. in 1971, and Dr. K. Parvathi Kumar, the present International Chairman (since 1984). The Trust spreads their impersonal teachings; multi-faceted wisdom flows through them, inspiring aspirants in the East and the West into the right way of living.
The groups associated with the World Teacher Trust comprise members from all walks of life and are spread all over the planet. The groups function with the main idea of goodwill in the different fields of life.
The World Teacher Trust is a living organisation that believes more in self-regulation than in rules, and all those who are inspired by the teachings of the Masters form part of the trust. These persons frequently meet to experience group living and to exchange the experience. Regional as well as national and international group livings are organized in India, Europe, as well as in South, North and Central America.
The World Teacher Trust collaborates with several social and cultural organisations in achieving the set goal of bettering human life. It also promotes ancient Indian culture and upholds every traditional value relating to human society, without getting involved in criticism or condemnation of any concept. It believes in exposing the positive contribution of every -ism, concept or tradition so that man can function meaningfully with the ancient values, eliminating superstitions and blind following. |
