Meditation, study and service are the three sides of the triangle with which life works. Therefore the W.T.T. recommends to meditate regularly, to study the knowledge of the Wisdom Teachings and to render service to humanity besides animal, plant and mineral.

Dr. K. Parvathi Kumar, International Chairman of the W.T.T., says: „A man who seeks self-transformation should trigger his target on the lower planes - service to fellow beings - which results in purification of the five senses and the mind that would enable appropriate reflection of higher principles on the slate of mind. Service thus becomes the bridge to link up to the higher awareness. Hence, the W.T.T. strongly emphasises upon service activities concurrent with spiritual practice.“

Each service needs an appropriate competence. The desire to serve alone is not enough. We have to acquire knowledge how we can serve and equip ourselves for this service. To serve with knowledge opens higher sources of learning. The value of knowledge and service lies in adjusting the personality with the soul and the soul with the spirit.
