Wisdom for practice

Wisdom is for practice, not for continuous speaking. If we keep on speaking about the Masters, the Rays, and the Hierarchies, we are only missing our duties for the present.

Wisdom is applied knowledge

Knowledge, when applied becomes wisdom. We gain a lot of knowledge, but it has to be applied in daily life, then it transforms itself into wisdom. Through wisdom we will experience the existence.

Wisdom spreads itself

We need not be anxious to spread the wisdom without working it with ourselves. It is a wrong understanding if one thinks that he can spread wisdom. Wisdom knows how to spread itself. It only needs channels.

Wisdom

Information, Knowledge, Wisdom

Wisdom

Information is not knowledge; knowledge is not the number of books we have, and knowledge is not wisdom either. Many aspirants already regard what they read about different concepts of wisdom as their own knowledge. Especially at the beginning they are enthusiastic and crazy about obtaining special information. Without a specific direction they wander around in the ocean of wisdom concepts. They read books about yoga, theosophy, etc., talk about them right away, and instead of becoming humble, they fall into the illusion of making spiritual progress in this way.

Information related to wisdom we must take within ourselves and work with the knowledge within until we have transformed ourselves. When we read books like Master Djwhal Khul's or Blavatsky's Secret Doctrine to understand them and memorize the facts they contain, our head will begin to reel and we will be disappointed. Most of the time we forget what we have read and have no benefit from it. We should know how to approach these books. It is not a matter of taking something from them and wanting to remember it, but of permanently surrendering to the wisdom contained in them. After we have read the sentences, we must have changed.

Wisdom is not something that we acquire like knowledge and then possess. Wisdom is like a bud that becomes a blossom and thus sacrifices its former state of the bud. The bud surrenders completely to the state of blossom. When wisdom is practiced, we overcome our personality and bloom as a soul. As long as we are not willing to give up the whole state of personality, the flower of wisdom cannot open.

For information to lead to realization, we need a teacher. His way of imparting wisdom is completely different from what the students think. A teacher of wisdom imparts silence, right thought, right speech and right action. Many disciples want to read books, to meet masters and immediately gain wisdom. But before we can enter the Hall of Wisdom, there is the Hall of Learning. Learning does not mean to read books, but to change our behaviour and our personality. We must work with our tongues until we can express ourselves in the right words in a harmonious way without hurting or misleading others. We must not become impractical and abandon our responsibilities in family or work but should bring the inspiration of wisdom into life. We learn through daily action to transform knowledge into wisdom and to discard what is of a hindrance.

After this learning is completed to a certain degree, we continue into the Hall of Wisdom. Our body is built as a temple. The Hall of Learning is below the diaphragm; the lower torso enables us to connect to the objective world. The upper torso is the Hall of Wisdom; it enables us to connect to the subjective world. The head is the sanctum sanctorum, the third chamber. It is the Hall of Experience that we can enter through wisdom. In this hall we can experience the presence of God as light and sound. We can also experience the will of God and learn how to manifest this will.

Becoming Impersonal

While learning requires a strong personality, wisdom demands that we sacrifice the personality completely and become impersonal. Wisdom is impersonal. By practicing wisdom correctly, likes and dislikes, personal opinions, prejudices, and pride disappear. Impersonality is a characteristic of initiation. It expresses itself as a flexible personality in which there are no limitations and conditions for the service and the surrounding life. We should daily strive to overcome our own points of view and opinions. When our personality has become so transparent that it becomes impersonal, the soul can express itself. Then wisdom is no longer restricted by our personal views.

This work with wisdom is called work with white magic. It has a magical effect on us. True magic is the application of wisdom to ourselves in order to find the entire cosmos within us. There can be no better or greater magic than this.

Right Search for Wisdom

We cannot get wisdom in malls or marketplaces; it is always hidden. The diluted versions of wisdom are available on the market. Books about diluted versions of astrology or esotericism are sold by millions; the demand for books like Spiritual Astrology or Spiritual Psychology however, is low. Deeper wisdom has to be seriously sought. It seems to vanish into thin air if we don't approach it properly. Wisdom can also wait; it is there for those who align themselves to it. Wisdom does not advertise and does not missionize; even fewer does it adopt a militant attitude. These are all weaknesses of the human community, by which people even distort the teaching as it was originally given. Yet Maitreya, the compassionate one, remains available through his network of servants.

Many people fall asleep when wisdom teaching is given or when they meditate because their body tissue still contains much sluggishness. This means that the tissue is still very dense. This causes sleep or some kind of sleepiness when light is transmitted through meditation or teaching. Even while we sleep, we can be guided by a Master of Wisdom. However, he does not simply penetrate our system, but we have to invite him ardently and consistently. If we offer ourselves to him in this way, he will enter us and guide the work as we step out of the body and re-enter.

Where wisdom is taught, there is also foam of wisdom. Those who are overactive with wisdom get into astral or foggy planes, which is also there in the theosophical literature. There is also a beauty of diversity in wisdom; this is in harmony with ancient wisdom, for diversity brings joy to life. Master EK thought fit to uphold all the truthful traditions of the planet. As followers of the teachings of the Hierarchy, we have the responsibility to embody the values and show the quality of service in all aspects of life. Otherwise, we are captured by the delusion of some wisdom concepts.

Many also want high wisdom, but the basic wisdom is simple - creation is inhalation and exhalation, giving and receiving. What we have learned and integrated in life we should also share with our surroundings. It does not need a big platform, it can be a small group, the family or the circle of friends. If we share the wisdom we have received with friends, it will flow. But we should not share the names of Masters. Sharing names is a cult, but wisdom should be shared, slowly, gently and subtly.

If we give wisdom and make a lot of money with it, it is something serious. Wisdom is not there to be sold. We give our energy out of love. The life of an initiate is a life of serving and of sacrifice. The Hierarchy does not claim wisdom for itself either. There are no property rights for knowledge and wisdom. To create property rights is an instinct to steal.

Aligning to Wisdom

Wisdom is also not eastern or western, but global, solar or even cosmic. It is the wisdom of God that reveals itself. No one can say “this is my wisdom”. It is the wisdom which is rising in us according to time and space. When great sages issued wisdom, they did not write their name on it. They understood that they reflected only the wisdom that already existed. Wisdom is like a boundless sea from which we should drink a handful every day. If we do this regularly, our mind is oriented towards wisdom, and as far as this orientation exists, our mind is slowly magnetized by wisdom. Wisdom revealed from within is alive, always fresh and new like freshly prepared food. Wisdom from external sources does not have this freshness. A sound to intuitively get wisdom is HSOUM. The sound of the cosmic wisdom principle, Ganesha, is KHAM. The sound at the root of all wisdom is OM.

The thirst for wisdom must grow in the student. Among those who seek wisdom, there are some who are particularly thirsty. Others are simply curious or inquisitive, but not really thirsty. Many students may find a teacher, but among them a teacher finds few who are thirsty enough to penetrate deeper into wisdom through their intense practice of the teachings. When a real relationship develops between the teacher and the student, through the student's behaviour, a flow of energy develops between them. The student can receive an intuitive idea in prayer or meditation, or through a vivid dream experience and in sleep. However, wisdom and will alone do not help, the path lies in the basic attitude of wanting to serve. Just wanting to know without serving only nourishes one's pride and makes us impractical workers. Wisdom comes to those who serve, so that the servers can serve even better.
