Lord Maitreya

LORD MAITREYA

SON OF GOD

Three disciples of a Master took to penance. The penance was full of intent and fire. In 12 years the Divinity presented before them as four-armed God and offered boons to them. The three were happy.

The first one sought at-one-ment with the Divine. He was granted and he ceased to be, for he became one with God.

The second one sought freedom and movement in the planes of subtle and causal light. The Divine granted and the second one at once became a being of light and of wisdom. He flew into the realms of light.

The third one sought to be on Earth, but with Divine Presence to serve eternally. The Divine granted. He remained on Earth and started moving on Earth from place to place, tribe to tribe, spreading the Presence as it is with him. The touch of Presence worked magic in the surroundings. He healed, he taught, he gave sight to the blind and life to the dead. He is acclaimed and worshipped as son of God. The Hierarchy is a group of such sons of God.
