MESSAGE OF THE MONTH OF AQUARIUS

Aquarians are those who work for the well-being of a group, a community, a nation and even a race. They are not the ones who look for personal well-being. Even the so-called aspirants, disciples, theists look for personal well-being, personal fulfilment and personal enlightenment. Even if one aims at personal enlightenment it is not considered as a noble aspiration because in seeking for personal enlightenment, selfishness continues to coexist with personal enlightenment. As long as selfishness is, enlightenment is not. The energy of Aquarius gives this key to realization.

Striving for others welfare, well-being and for their enlightenment is a true Aquarian approach. When the focus shifts from self to the group selfishness gradually decreases and eventually disappears. As much as self projection recedes so much light succeeds. “Serve until you forget that you are serving”, is an age-old statement of Veda. Gita emphasises only on this.

Aquarian age has come to be ever since 1875. Many claim to be Aquarian but few are Aquarian in spirit. The true Aquarians do not project themselves; they project the work of goodwill which includes programs of enlightenment, teachings of enlightenment and works that benefit a group or a community. All great Masters of wisdom have become so through the tremendous service that they did to a race or a nation.  Striving for others’ welfare, others’ well-being, others’ upliftment is the keynote of Aquarius. Such ones are ably empowered by the energy of Uranus, the new age energy. As much as one lifts up the surrounding life so much he is lifted up. As much as one thinks of lifting up himself so much the effort remains futile. To lose oneself for community good is what is called self-sacrifice. Such sacrifices are recognized and honoured.

True Aquarians care not for being recognized in this world. They care to strive for others.

May the sun’s transit through the month of Aquarius help us all to reorient to this noble cause.
