MESSAGE OF THE MONTH OF VIRGO
The glyph of Virgo when observed indicates that there is no mean job and no noble job in service. The symbol stoops down at the end. It indicates that it can do the meanest of jobs as an act of service. Nursing the old, the newly born is mostly the work of Virgo. Nursing the sick and the disabled is also the work of Virgo. Virgo transmits sublime energies expressed through the highest concept of motherhood. What a mother does to its baby cannot be done by others. Mother does the meanest job to the baby. A nurse also does it. But the difference is, mother does it with love, nurse does it as duty. To do ugliest jobs with love is impossible to the man of intellect. It requires pure love to do so. By pure love it is meant to say that it is almost holiness while at work. Such is the outstanding character of Virgo. The mother with a pleasant countenance with a tender baby in her arms drawn nearer to the breast that gives warmth is also a symbol of Virgo. Through such holy and pure energy only Divinity expresses. For this reason practising nursing is considered nobler than practising as a doctor. The doctor too works from heart with head associated. But a nurse works mostly from heart. Head is a handmaid to the true nurse. Virgo gives the message that there is blessing for those who have abundant heart though not abundant head. Such ones truly play the role of loving motherhood. Mother with a rainbow behind her is another symbol set forth for Virgo. Again mother with a sugarcane in hand is another symbol for Virgo. Bringing the head to heart, thinking in the heart and conducting service with love are the strengths of Virgo which every disciple needs to learn during his labours to transform from a son of man to a son of God.
