The Pythagorean wisdom represents the Ancient Wisdom. Every great Master represents the wisdom and he never claims himself as the owner of that wisdom. The general public knows very little about the teachings of Pythagoras. He taught the Ancient Wisdom through cryptical statements. This was one of the many techniques used by him to transmit wisdom. According to him, language was only one of the keys.
